Današnji Metal detektor bomo začeli s tehničarji Reciprocal, sledijo norveški Obliteration, ki prisegajo na death metal stare šole. Nove albume so objavili tudi thrasherji Sworn Amongst, pa Charred Walls Of The Damned, Hellfuelled, Bloodthirst in melodičarji Freedom Call ter Rage. Dark Fortress so na Ylem dokazali, da so daleč od klišejev black metala, še več pa si drzne eksperimentirati duet Nutrition. Za konec še Aeternam in Antgoria/ex-Cradle Of Filth vokalistka Sarah Jezebel Deva s solo albumom A Sign Of Sublime.
