29. aprila bo v Key Clubu v West Hollywoodu koncert posvečen pokojnemu Randy Castillu. Na njem bodo nastopili sedajšnji in bivši člani Motley Crue, Guns N’ Roses, Montrose in še mnogi drugi. Izkupiček bo šel v dobrodelne namene. /M.P./

Po hudi bolezni je 26. marca umrl znani bobnar Randy Castillo. Petdesetletnega Randyja se bomo spominjali predvsem po njegovem bobnanju pri Ozzyju, svojo zelo uspešno kariero pa je zaključil pri Mötley Crue. /M.P./

6. maja bodo s snemanjem novega albuma Still Going Strong začeli kanadski metalci Anvil. Lips obljublja čisti power metal, nekako nadaljevanje Plenty Of Power albuma. Na albumu bo tudi instrumental. /M.P./

Razni finski glasbeniki so se združili v Death cover bandu Evil Chucks in 1. marca v Helsinkih odigrali koncert posvečen Chucku Schuldinerju. V skupini so sodelovali Alexi Laiho (Children Of Bodom), kitarist Mitja Harvilahti (Moonsorrow), kitarist Janne Pertillä, bassist Oppu Laine (Mannhai, ex- Amorphis), bobnar Nalle Österman (Gandalf), vokalist Taneli Jarva (The Black League, ex- Sentenced) in še en vokalist Jaska Hurskainen (Gandalf). Odigrali so naslednje komade: Zombie Ritual (vokal: Taneli), Born Dead (v.: Jaska), Within The Mind (v.: Alexi), Defensive Personalities (v.: Alexi), Left To Die (v.: Jaska), Infernal Death (v.: Taneli), Pull The Plug (v.: Jaska) in Evil Dead (v.: Taneli). /M.P./
