Trans-Siberian Orchestra je stranski projekt članov Savatage in njihovega producenta Paula O`Neilla. Izdali so že tri albume. Sedaj pa pripravljajo glasbo za film The Grinch, v katerem bo glavno vlogo igral Jim Carrey. Film bo v ameriških kinematografih na sporedu novembra. To je tudi eden od razlogov, da bo novi, težko pričakovani album od Savatage ˝Poets & Madmen˝ izšel šele v začetku prihodnjega leta. Kdo pa bo nasledil Alla Pitrellija, ki je odšel k Megadeth, pa je zaenkrat še uganka. /M.P./
